Lady Dunleath, renowned food historian and founder of the Paradise Gardening Club, will lead you on a fascinating tour of the private walled garden, in the beautiful grounds of Ballywalter Park, followed by a Q&A and delicious refreshments of Tea/Coffee and homemade brownies.

This is a unique opportunity to visit an Estate not normally open to the public.


Things to note
No concessions.

Those aged under 18 yrs must be accompanied by a paying adult and also purchase a full price ticket.

Please wear suitable footwear for the garden tour due to uneven ground.

This experience is part based outdoors, please dress for warmth and comfort as dictated by the weather.

Getting there

By Car: from Belfast follow the A20 to Newtownards.  Follow the A20 along Kempe Stones Road to Newtownards.  At the roundabout take the 3rd exit along Blair Mayne Road South.  Continue to follow the A20 onto the Portaferry Road. Follow the signs towards Greyabbey.  At the roundabout take the 1st Exit.  Turn right onto Church Street B5 and follow signs to Ballywalter. Destination on the left.

By Bus: See Translink NI website for bus departure and arrival times.
