Breweries & Distilleries

In Ards and North Down we are lucky to be home to two distilleries and many local brewers of craft beers that can be enjoyed in our wonderful resturants throughout the region.

Copeland and Echlinville distilleries have certainly come to the forefront in their field in recent years. Copeland Distillery opened in 2019 and has grown to become a craft producer of a range of Irish Gin, Rum, Single Malt and Pot Still Whiskey, and Echlinville Distillery, Irelands first farm distillery, crafting award winning Irish whiskey, gin and poitín from field to glass.

Even if whiskey isn’t quite your thing, you’re guaranteed to learn a certain appreciation for the art involved in crafting these local tipples.
