A unique dining experience with celebrity chef Rachel Allen at Portavogie Harbour - enjoy welcome drinks and canapes, interactive starters, and main course platters followed by dessert.  

Rachel Allen will demo some of the dishes from the menu which will feature the finest local produce, curated by the team at the local South Eastern Regional College (SERC).

Prawn Vietnamese summer rolls with dipping sauce 
Crab arancini 

Starter Platters 
Composed salad – Salad niçoise made with comber potatoes and mackerel 
Salt baked fish served in a salt crust 
Guinness wheaten bread prawn open 
Scampi mornay 

Main course platters 
Surf 'n turf board 
Charred tomahawk steak with garlicky prawns and pomme allumette seasoned with scampi fries 

Smoked and Pickles
A sharing platter of chilled smoked and pickled fish served with a sourdough loaf, dill butter, horseradish mayo and flame roasted red pepper romesco 

Pollock, Pesto and Proper Tartar Sauce
Sustainable crispy battered Pollock with pea pesto and triple cooked chips, sea salt flakes, malt vinegar and proper tartar sauce

Things to note

A return bus service will run from Bangor, Donaghadee and Ballyhalbert. Timetables detailed further below.
If you are travelling by car, parking will be available onsite.
This event is for those 18 years and over only.
Your ticket includes a cocktail on arrival (non-alcoholic and alcoholic versions will be available).
This is a BYO event.

Please note that the menu will include meats, fish and seafood and would not be suitable for vegetarians/ vegans. 

Please ensure that you check with all members of your party regarding food allergies, intolerances, and dietary requirements prior to booking tickets. It is the responsibility of the ticketholder to inform a member of staff at the host venue about food allergies, intolerances and specific dietary requirements.  This must be done at the time of booking by contacting events@ardsandnorthdown.gov.uk.

Car parking | Parking will be avaiable close to the venue.

Free return bus service | 6pm - 10pm | Abbey Street Car Park, Bangor - beside the Public Toilets (6pm), stopping at Donaghadee and Ballyhalbert. Return service at 10pm
