About
This August, we welcome folk singer, Emer Dunne, and her superbly talented musicians as they present 'Folk Threads', a show celebrating well known and loved folk songs from Ireland, Scotland, England and America. Sing along with 'Wild Mountain Thyme' and 'Streets of London' alongside contemporary surprises and some original numbers!
Emer came to prominence on the folk scene after featuring on the RTE Television's 'Today' show, and following the release of her no 1 album, 'Hourglass' produced by Bill Shanley (Mary Black, Paul Brady and Gilbert O Sullivan). With three number one's in the Official Irish Charts, she has headlined her own theatre tours, festival stages and she has also toured with folk legends, The Fureys, before joining The High Kings in Australia. Emer is a versatile performer and has an entertaining nature on stage.
Sit back, relax, sing along and experience the magic of 'Folk Threads', a night of music not to be missed!
