153 Bangor Road, Cultra, County Down, BT18 0EU
Cultra Manor

About

Enjoy an in-depth visit to Cultra Manor with a guided tour. Built in 1902, this Manor House has had a magnificent history. Belonging to the Kennedy family, it was built for Sir Robert and Lady Kennedy to enjoy their retirement. Taking up residence in 1912, the house served as a family home for the Kennedy’s and their four daughters.

Experienced visitor guides from National Museums NI will take guests on a guided tour of this grand house discussing the architecture, it’s many uses, those who lived in it and how National Museums NI continue to ensure the integrity of the buildings fabric.

Cultra Manor is located on the site of the Ulster Folk Museum. Taking place on Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th September 2024 tours last one hour approximately at: 10:30, 12:00 and 14:00.

Booking is essential. Tickets do not include entrance to the Ulster Folk Museum or the Ulster Transport Museum
