About

In Portaferry you'll find a comprehensive range of cardiovascular and resistance equipment including free hand weights, kettlebells, TRX bands and a punch bag.

The cardiovascular (CV) equipment will build and increase your fitness level, stamina and help you lose weight while the resistance equipment tones and strengthens your muscles and joints.

As well as a range of bookable fitness classes the fitness facilities can be booked as well as childrens activities.

Sports Hall
The three court hall can accommodate the following activities: badminton, five-a-side football, volleyball, netball and basketball.

Tennis
Pay and play tennis is available in the outdoor training area during centre opening hours.

Outdoor Training Area
The area is suitable for training sessions and five-a-side football. The area is floodlit and can be used all year round.

Activity Party
Want to let them burn off some energy? Why not book the Sports Hall for a party and let your young guests play football, badminton or reach new heights on the Bouncy Castle? The outside training area is also available for football. There's an hour of the chosen activity plus 45 minutes in the hall for party food. Self catering only, a kitchen is available and table and chairs are provided.


Football Party
Held inside or outside, this football extravaganza guarantees a premier league party, whatever the weather. With a coach and referee laid on, it's the ideal opportunity for up to 16 football fanatics to kick around, practice their skills and have a match. After an hour of football, chairs and tables are set up in the Sports Hall for party food for 45 minutes. Self catering only, a kitchen is available.
