Willow Christmas Decorations in the Walled Garden

The Walled Garden, 47 Craigdarragh Road, Helen's Bay, County Down, BT19 1UB
WILLOW CHRISTMAS TREES SITTING ON A GARDEN BENCH

About

Join us in the Walled Garden for a fun, relaxed, willow weaving workshop and create your own Christmas decorations to add a rustic touch of seasonal charm to your home or garden... just in time for Christmas!

The workshop is on
Saturday, 7 December 10am - 3.30pm

You will spend the day with skilled local willow artist Heather McDermott and her assistant Naomi, who will guide you through traditional willow weaving techniques. Using sustainable willow from our own Saillie garden, you'll craft reindeer, stars, Christmas trees, bells, and even this reindeer mobile if you're up for a challenge!

This workshop is perfect for beginners and seasoned crafters alike.
While no prior experience is needed, some manual dexterity and strength is required to work with the willow.

Whether you come with friends, family, colleagues, or solo, this creative day promises to be a memorable way to get into the holiday spirit – and you may even leave with a unique gift for yourself or a loved one!

Tickets are £80 per person, and includes:

Expert instruction
All tools and materials
Morning and afternoon tea/coffee with homemade scones and cake
A delicious homemade lunch
