Seaside Revival Vintage Festival

McKee Clock Arena, 4A Quay Street, Bangor, County Down, BT20 5ED
Dancers at Seaside Revival

About

Seaside Revival pays tribute to Bangor's heyday as a prominent coastal resort with a celebration of all things vintage, local, and seaside inspired. Around 20,000 people are expected to attend the annual free event at the McKee Clock arena on Bangor seafront, which this year will focus on the 1920s era.

Entertainment will run from 12 noon to 6pm, with a bar, hot food trucks and funfair. There will be an open air stage with live entertainment in the McKee Clock Arena including the Open House Choir, Jazzmeisters, a Fast Shim Sham dance competition, a Charleston lesson from Strictly Come Dancing choreographer Jenny Thomas, the band In Full Swing, plus DJ & Dancing. Don't forget to come in your best retro outfit and enter the Best Dressed Competition.

The adjoining Sunken Gardens will host our vintage car boot sale, popup shops including vintage hair salon, art workshops and activities with a range of partners including Boom Studios, Seacourt Print Workshop, Bangor Camera Club and North Down Museum.

One of the highlights will be the popular vintage car and bike show in Queen's Parade car park, where more than 100 vehicles from across Northern Ireland will compete in seven best in class categories, including Best Original Car, Best Classic Car, and the new Best American Classic Car. Judging and presentation will take place on the day and all registered entrants will receive an official Seaside Revival commemorative certificate. Cars must register in advance.

This event is Grant Aided by Ards and North Down Borough Council's Tourism Department.
