About

The Ulster Flying Club offers the opportunity to embark on an unforgettable adventure over the picturesque landscapes of Ards & North Down.  Take to the skies in either our Microlight C42 or Cessna 172, you will soar above this stunning region, revealing its natural beauty in a whole new light. The sensation of flight combined with the awe-inspiring views creates a truly magical experience that lingers in the memory long after the flight ends.

The Trial Lesson Experience: Your trial lesson will consist of a pre-flight brief on how the aeroplane works and how you control it. Your instructor will show you around the outside and inside of the aircraft on the ground and then when you take to the air the instructor will start to teach you the effects of the controls.

Depending on the time available the lesson may contain general handling training to keep the aircraft straight and level, take-off, climbing, descending and turning as well as details of the basic instruments such as airspeed and altimeter.

Trial lessons are purchased on a voucher basis, please see website for T&C's  Prices: from £82 - £385
