About

Strangford Lough Activity Centre is an adventure centre based on the shores of Strangford Lough, County Down.
We help families, individuals and groups explore places off the beaten track. Offering a variety of land and water based - outdoor activities throughout Northern Ireland including: archery, boat tours, bushcraft, canoeing, e-foiling, e-bike tours, hill walking, kayaking, laser tag, orienteering, raft building, stand-up paddle boarding (SUP), and team building games.

We deliver quirky & bespoke experiences for individuals, families and groups because we love adventure too! Having developed some unique packages offering a sense of place, we can help you escape from the pressures of everyday life and immerse yourself in the moment.

Explore the wonderful natural beauty of Strangford Lough canoeing, kayaking or SUP paddle boarding. Get your thrills with our speed boat tours or wet bouldering on the coast of county Down. Cycle through the quiet country back roads on out E bike tours, Take a trip off the beaten track hill walking & climbing in the majestic Mourne mountains. Get your eye in during target practice with laser tag & archery at our base. Whatever your adventure, we’ll help you realise it.

SLAC is run by a team of qualified experienced instructors and adventure guides. Our fun, energetic and experienced instructors make all activities enjoyable. Your safety is a priority for us. We operate a ‘challenge by choice’ policy. Which means we will encourage you to participate but respect your decision if there are certain aspects you would prefer to sit out.
