About

The gym in Comber provides a comprehensive range of cardiovascular and resistance equipment including a functional cube.

The cardiovascular (CV) equipment will build and increase your fitness level, stamina and help you lose weight while the resistance equipment tones and strengthens your muscles and joints. The functional cube provides a variety of ways to train using your own body weight. The gym has free hand weights and a variety of exercise kit such as kettlebells and stability balls. There is also a Bravo functional trainer and hand bike suitable for persons with a disability.

A separate room dedicated to heavy resistance equipment for advanced muscle and strength training is also available.

The Health Suite is situated on the ground floor and accessed from the changing rooms beside the Heavy Weights Room and Energy Studio.

You can relax in the Steam Room or Sauna and freshen up in the Experience Shower.

As sessions are mixed therefore suitable swimwear must be worn.

In the soft play area Join Dino in his den of adventure packed with a host of exciting activities including slides, a biffbash forest, ball juggler, climbers, rollersqueeze and log ramp – a great way to thrill and amuse the kids. Suitable for toddlers to 10 year olds.

In addition to weekly classes and courses a number of facilities can be booked as below:

Outdoor Pitch
The astro turf pitch is adjacent to the centre. The pitch can be used for football, hockey and tennis. Changing rooms including team accommodation are available to those using the pitch. The pitch can be used all year round as floodlights are installed.

Tennis courts with dome
Four astro turf tennis courts are available for tennis practice and matches. The courts can also be hired for five-a-side football. The dome permits play all year round.

Energy Studio
The purpose built exercise studio has a wooden sprung floor, a mirrored wall and ballet barre. It is air-conditioned and has a built in sound system.
