Bangor is celebrating as four of the city's Asian restaurants are shortlisted from over 1,190 restaurants and takeaways across the UK who were nominated for the awards this year: Bangla, Yaks, Green Chilli and Bokhara.
The artcile says, "The ARTA awards are in celebration and recognition of the vibrant Asian restaurants and takeaways and offer solidarity and morale for the industry during the current cost of living crisis.
Dubbed the "Oscars of the curry industry", it rewards excellence, craft, creativity, and great taste by bringing the UK’s most prestigious Asian restaurants and chefs together under one roof.
The shortlist was chosen based on nominations by customers from across the UK, including over 750,000 customers of ARTA’s strategic partner ChefOnline, social media and Food Hygiene Ratings, followed by a final judgment of an esteemed judging panel to crown each region’s Asian excellency."
The winners will be announced at the awards ceremony event hosted at the London Hilton Park Lane on October 8.
