Enjoy breath-taking vistas and spectacular birds-eye views across Strangford Lough. Every autumn, approximately 25,000 of light-bellied brent geese leave their breeding grounds in Arctic Canada and travel to Ireland to spend the winter. They undertake a 2,900-mile journey which is the longest, and one of the most dangerous, migrations made by any of the geese species. For centuries they have returned to appreciate the revitalising nature of this place and now you have an opportunity to experience the same. Castle Espie Wetland Centre, find out more.
