About

1 of a group of 7 cottages that can accommodate parties of up to 34 people.

Brooks Cottage was named after the family who lived in the farmstead for over 200 years. Brooks Cottage is one of the largest in the complex, sleeping 6 people comfortably in 3 bedrooms. The cottage comprises a spacious lounge with traditional fireplace and wood burning stove (free logs supplied), flagged floor and pine furniture.

The kitchen/dining area, crafted in reclaimed pine and maple, has fully equipped state of the art kitchen facilities for those who love to cook. The kitchen opens out onto a paved area overlooking the garden with the drumlins of County Down as a backdrop. The entire cottage is furnished in a style which provides home from home comforts such as digital satellite TV, video, freezer and mobile phone, without spoiling the farmhouse ambience.

Free Wi Fi is available at Barnwell Farm Cottages.

We have recently opened five farm trails leading to a Bird hide,Badger hide and viewing platform from which many parts of the Scottish mainland and the Isle of Man are visible.
*We now have our own PRIVATE FISHING LAKE at Barnwell,so guests can go fishing.

In 2015 Barnwell Farm Cottages were awarded a Gold Award in the Green Tourism Business Scheme.
