About

The Sea Bangor festival will mark the 80th Anniversary of The D-Day Landing with a 1940s themed programme on Saturday 1 June (12noon – 6pm) and Sunday 2 June (1pm-6pm). This celebration of the City of Bangor’s maritime heritage returns to the seafront with nautical fun on and off the water!

Quay Street Car Park area will take on a distinctly holiday atmosphere with 1940s themed fun.

There will be lots of maritime fun - enjoy kids’ activities at the beach area, funfair rides and entertainment throughout the weekend. A great programme of music acts will bring a nostalgic feel with a lively mix of 40s favourites.

Head to Eisenhower Pier to watch some fantastic food demo’s and on-the-water activities.

Pick up some delicious treats from a range of local food and drink stalls, hot food trucks, ice-cream, and even an outdoor bar!

It will be the perfect weekend to soak up some maritime fun in the City of Bangor by the sea.
